The process of accepting or rejecting an article in this journal includes the following stages:

  1. Article Submission

The article is submitted through the journal’s electronic submission system.

  1. Initial Review by the Editorial Board

The article is reviewed in a meeting of the Editorial Board, and one of the following decisions is made:

  • Rejection at the initial stage due to reasons such as:
    • Lack of alignment with the journal’s aims, scope, or subject area
    • The article not being a priority for publication
    • Low scientific or structural quality
    • In this case, the reasons for rejection are communicated to the author.
  • Acceptance for the peer-review process
  1. Peer Review Process

The article is sent to at least two expert reviewers. The review outcomes may be one of the following:

  • Negative
  • Positive
  • Revisions required
  1. Review of Referees’ Reports by the Editorial Board

The reviewers’ reports are evaluated by the Editorial Board, and one of the following decisions is made:

  • Rejection of the article (in the case of two negative reviews)
  • Submission to a third reviewer (in the case of one negative review and one review requiring revisions)
  • Return to the author for revisions (in the case of two reviews requesting revisions)
  1. Submission of the Revised Manuscript by the Author

The author submits the revised version of the article after addressing the reviewers’ comments.

  1. Evaluation of Revisions by the Verification Reviewer

The revised manuscript is sent to a verification reviewer (usually one of the original reviewers). This stage may result in one of the following decisions:

  • Rejection of the revisions
  • Acceptance of the article
  • Request for further revisions

Based on the verification reviewer’s decision:

  • The manuscript may be returned to the author for further revisions;
  • If all required revisions are satisfactorily implemented, the article is accepted;
  • If the revisions do not comply with the verification reviewer’s comments, the article will be rejected.
